The importance of playing in early childhood education was the theme of the meeting with parents promoted at the American School of Victoria (EAV) on April 12 last.
EAV director Andrea Buffara explains that schools that are references in early childhood education have been using games as a context for learning.
“This environment helps you foster curiosity, innovation and thought out of the box, important requirements in a globalized environment with new demands on the job market.”
The chat with the families counted on the participation of the psychologist Bianca Martins, who highlighted the benefits of the play for the social-emotional development of the children. Psychologist Thamy Martins, from Amoras Diversões, led a playful activity with her parents.
With a modern methodology that brings together new teaching and learning approaches used in education institutions in the world, the American School of Vitoria (EAV) offers bilingual education with English immersion from the first grades.
The EAV started to operate this year in Vitória, with early childhood education and is already preparing expansion with the opening of elementary school classes in 2019. The school has, in essence, a team of managers formed by experienced educators working in international schools in Brazil and in other countries.
